Acupuncture

Acupuncture and other aspects of Chinese medicine are known to be helpful in relieving physical complaints. They can also help balance our minds and spirits so that all of our symptoms are alleviated and we are able to take better care of ourselves. Treatment allows you to experience a greater sense of ease, and this enables you to deal with the ups and downs of life in a more balanced manner. The treatment process also helps you to develop greater awareness of your lifestyle patterns and helps support you as you choose new, healthier patterns of living. Many people find that once their symptoms have improved, they continue to come for treatment on a maintenance basis in order to keep their life force flowing smoothly. Others may return seasonally or whenever needed for a “tune-up.” These therapies also work excellently as preventive methods of health care and for those who need greater immune support.

Frequently Asked Questions About Acupuncture:

Will acupuncture hurt?

In acupuncture, very fine needles are inserted into points along the meridians to allow Qi to smoothly flow through the body. Acupuncture needles are the diameter of a human hair and usually enter the skin without any discomfort. When the needle is in place, you may experience sensations of heaviness or warmth. Most people find acupuncture treatments to be very relaxing.

Do you re-use your needles?

Only one use disposable needles are used. They are made of sterilized stainless steel and are individually wrapped.
